Wongade – Chambres D’Hotes*** – Gressoney La Trinité

The Chambres d’hôtes Wongade is a typical Walser house of 1660 considered to be of “documentary value” and bound to the fine arts. Once used as a stable (from which it takes its name Wongade), after a wise and accurate restoration, it presents itself today as an exclusive, warm and welcoming structure. Thanks to the work of skilled local craftsmen, with great respect for traditions, we have maintained the internal stone walls and walls with original woods, antique doors and period furniture, love and care in the choice of details then complete the picture of this structure which, while recreating the simple and welcoming atmosphere of Walser homes, is very charming. The property, located a short walk from the town center, is surrounded by greenery and offers an enchanting view of Monte Rosa. Thanks to its strategic position, it guarantees easy access to the ski lifts for the winter, and in summer the proximity to numerous hiking trails. The 5 rooms of the structure are different from one another and are distinguished by the care of the furnishings, the uniqueness of the details and the search for comfort. Each has its own charm: the scent and warmth of wood will remind you of the history and beauty of ancient Alpine traditions.
